Fever is a surge in body temperature. An increase in temperature is temporary and is a sign of an infection or illness in the body. The average body temperature is 37 °C (98.6 °F). Any spike from this sum indicates a fever.

Nearly fever symptoms are headache, sweating, shivering, burning eyes, muscle ache, dehydration, loss of appetite, body pain, and weakness. High fever from 103 °F to 106 °F can also cause symptoms such as irritability, hallucinations, and convulsions.

A low fever, once the temperature drops to 37.5 °C, usually is not a cause of concern for adults. However, once the body temperature reaches around 38 °C (99 or 100 °F approximately) in children or infants, it is imperative to consult a doctor immediately, especially if the fever remains accompanied by lethargy or loss of appetite throat.

Low grade – The fever is current every day, but the spike in temperature is relatively low.

Causes of Fever

Hypothalamus is a share of the brain which controls body temperature. When there is contagion or illness in the body, the hypothalamus raises body temperature. Cold and flu or contagion in the ear or the throat can cause the body temperature to rise. Several reasons may cause fever, like viral or bacterial infections, or extreme cases of sunburn, and heat exhaustion.

Inflammations include rheumatoid arthritis, gastroenteritis, cancers or tumors, and illegal drugs such as cocaine or blood clots. Fever can also be current due to malaria, typhoid, or hypothermia. Other causes of fever are inoculation or drug side effects, lung infection, and kidney or bladder infections.

Fever may occur during urinary tract infection, meningitis, measles, chickenpox, typhus, hyperthyroidism, and pneumonia. Essentially, there may be many reasons that can cause high body temperature. At certain times, the cause of fever is difficult to determine.

There remain many ways to treat a fever by consuming natural remedies. Home remedies can be used laterally with the prescribed treatment to decrease the fever or treat the cause of the madness. However, if the turmoil continues for more than a few days or the fever symptoms make you uncomfortable, it is top to consult a doctor.

For children, it is optional to visit the clinician as soon as the fever goes above 99 °C. Home remedies for fever in children: a damp cloth can remain on the child’s forehead; a sponge bath can remain given or even a 5-minute soak in the tub with lukewarm water.

Yarrow and elderflower are other useful herbs that can remain natural remedies for fever. Warm water and vinegar soaks can stay used to bring down fevers. Alternatively, this mixture can stand used to wet a washcloth and applied to the forehead to reduce high temperatures.

Home remedies for flu can remain from infusions of herbs such as peppermint, chamomile, thyme, eucalyptus, or rosemary. Honey or ginger can remain added to teas made from these herbs to increase their potency and reduce flu and fevers.

Consuming foods high in vitamin C is beneficial for healing cold and flu symptoms and infections. Citrus fruits such as oranges and grapefruit can be eaten during a fever and also regularly to keep conditions away. Drinking lemon juice in lukewarm water is a beneficial natural remedy for fever, cold, flu, and many diseases.
